I love having the flavors around and have discovered a few things in the weeks since I’ve been using them.
For maximum flavoring of hot water (teas, hot cereals), the water shouldn’t be too hot; water under about 150 degrees brings out the flavor better.
I REALLY like the maple flavoring. It smells exactly like a maple-flavored cereal I loved as a kid. I experimented with putting it in my hot cereal and it recreates the taste and takes me back to my childhood.
I’ve also been using the cinnamon along with a few drops of liquid Stevia to extend the life of my sugar-free cinnamon gum. There’s always that initial burst of flavor and after a few minutes it fades away. With my mixture, I get much longer from each piece of gum.
Looking forward to other creative uses as I go along!
