Zucchini Bread can be exciting!
Caramel Creme Brulee Zucchini Bread
Here's a variation on the well-known theme that will add some elegant flavor-interest to zucchini bread. This is great toasted.
Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Flavor Essence French Vanilla Creme
- 1 Teaspoon Flavor Essence Caramel Creme Brulee
- 2 Cups Sifted Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Cups Grated Zucchini (not peeled)
- 1 Cup Chopped Nuts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and frothy. --Add sugar, oil, Flavor Essence --Mix thoroughly
- Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda --and add to the egg mixture --Mix until smooth --Add the shredded zucchini and stir--
- Pour and spoon the mixture into 2 greased and floured loaf pans
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for about 1 hour --Let cool
Notes
We've also baked other loaves and have substituted Banana Foster for the Caramel Creme Brulee for excellent results!

Snowball Choc. Chip Cookies
The Flavor Essence Dark Chocolate and Custard Creme blend together nicely throughout these little "snowballs"
Ingredients
- 3 sticks of softened butter
- 1-1/2 tsp. Flavor Essence Rich Dark Chocolate
- 1 tsp. Flavor Essence Custard Creme You can use this in place of Vanlla
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 3/4 cups confectioners sugar For dusting the finished cookies
Instructions
- Add the butter, sugar and the two Flavor Essence flavors to a mixing bowl and beat the mixture thoroughly.
- Add the flour and salt gradually and mix thoroughly.
- Add the Mini Chocolate Chips and walnuts and stir by hand.
- Roll the mixture into little balls (1-1/4" to 1-1/2") and place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown (10 to 12 minutes).
- Let them cool completely.
- Cover with the sifted powdered sugar.
Notes
The addition of two of the Flavor Essence products enhances the final results of this cookie recipe.
